Emma Lawson Management Surveyor

Emma joined the Plus Shops team in September 2007 as a Management Surveyor. She is responsible for working closely with the Property Director on a number of the shopping centres within the portfolio; She is currently focusing on the General Management of the Centres, their Service Charges and Financial Management to ensure the best returns from each property. Emma is also assisting on rent reviews, new lettings and lease renewals to help maintain that the Centres are well let and continue to be attractive to shoppers. Meanwhile Emma is also finding time to complete her APC.

Emma is fresh from the world of education and is still learning. She has recently attended Cass Business School in London to study a Masters in Property Valuation and Law before which she studied History of Art at Northumbria University. Emma decided a career in property was for her when she realised that a career in art was not going to enable her to do the things she enjoys most like traveling and adventurous sports; for example Kite Buggying and wakeboarding are some of the sports she wished she has more time for.
Emma is also a qualified ski instructor, keen sailor and tennis player. Being a compulsive traveler China, South America and Russia are a few of the places top of her list next to explore.
