style entertainment and retail outlet Centre. The mixed scheme
which attracts over 5.5 million visitors has a very strong
emphasis on leisure.
A 16 screen Cinesa cinema; NEX youth generation
bowling and family entertainment centre; Virgin Active health
and fitness centre; 4 lively music bars and a 150 room Ibis
Accor Hotel together with 16 restaurants, make it a much sought
after location.
The Shopping Centre is in the energetic part
of North-East Barcelona, at the heart of the Nou Barris district
and benefits from superb communications with good public and
private transportation links. It has its own 1,700 space Car
Park and is adjacent to the new El Corte Inglés.
The Centre was remodeled in 2005, with around
53,820 sq ft (5,000 sq m) of space being converted into outlet
shopping. Thus Heron City is the first and only factory outlet
scheme in the whole metropolitan area of Barcelona. The new
design has transformed the Shopping Centre into a contemporary
retail destination bringing a significant vibrance and colour
in one of Europe’s leading City’s. New tenants
include Zara, Diesel, Amichi, Funky Fish and Bata.
