Kennet Shopping Newbury
Owners: The Newbury Trust
March 2004 to October 2009

Kennet Shopping is located in Newbury Town Centre and provides over 18,500 sq. metres of retail space. Shopping is arranged on the ground floor linking Bartholomew Street, Cheap Street and Market Street. The Centre was opened in the early 1970s, with further phases added in 1984, 1986 and 1989. In 2003 entrances were remodelled and at the Bartholomew entrance a new large retail unit was added.

Adjacent to the Shopping Centre are a 397-space multi storey and a 66-space
surface Car Park. The Centre also comprises office accommodation, which is situated in a stand-alone building on the edge of the development and above the shops on
Cheap Street.

The Centre is anchored by Debenhams, Peacocks, TK Maxx and New Look. A further 43 tenants including AllSports, Body Shop, Adams and F Hinds provide a strong destination for shoppers in the West Berkshire catchment area.
