Christmas shopping!

It's only six weeks to the big day...
It's only 6 weeks to go to the big day! Christmas is what
retailers look forward to, and we take the business of Christmas
decorations at the Shopping Centres very seriously, in order to
create that special festive atmosphere.
At The Ridings in Wakefield the decorations are up and the lights
will be turned on this Saturday by the man of the hour, Father
Christmas. This years theme is jolly Santa'a swinging from brightly
coloured baubles and wreaths with a deep purple and lime green
colour theme giving the traditional look a modern feel. Everyone
can meet the main man as he will be strolling the malls every
Sunday giving out goodies.
Down in Cardiff the Light Up a Life campaign is underway with a
huge tree outside H&M in support of George Thomas Hospice where
people can post their messages to loved ones. The colour theme at
Capitol is silver and blue which compliments the modern feel of the
Centre. With plenty of Welsh choirs visiting the Centre, a special
atmosphere wil be created down at the Capitol.
The Cornmill heralds Christmas with the reindeer parade at the end
of the month! It's a fantastic event that will draw in crowds to
see Ruldoph and his friends. Its cold enough at the moment to
possibly have some real snow to add to the festive
atmosphere!
