It's a girl!

Baby Girl for Property Director, Leigh Burnett...

In the early hours on Tuesday 12th July Anya Louise was born to parents Leigh and Drew Burnett at High Wycombe Hospital. At 9lbs 11ozs Anya is the biggest baby recorded at Plus Shops. She is also the prettiest! She arrived 8 days after the due date, but as Leigh pointed out, still quicker than the industry average for tenants paying their rent!

There were many reasons for the late arrival; some at Plus Shops thought it was because Leigh refused to put down the laptop or let her Blackberry out of her grip. She was still churning out emails and managing her Centres right up to the last few hours! Others thought that Anya was clearly a laid back operator and was in no hurry to do anything!

But in the end it was one email too far, once Leigh asked for more information on a service charge reconciliation, things started rumbling! Leigh arrived at hospital at around 11pm and gorgeous Anya was born at 2.58 am. Quick and efficient: that's Leigh!

We are not sure when Leigh hit the Blackberry afterwards .... but it wasn't very long! Leigh is now on Maternity leave at home in Great Missenden and all communication with anything  'Shopping Centre Management' is  banned! .... well for the immediate future anyway!
